We offer airtightness tests and Background Ventilation tests to the trade and public all around the UK. We are based in Felixstowe, Ipswich and Salisbury. We use calibrated Energy Conservatory equipment to de-pressurise a building and take airflow measurements, which will be summarised in a written report. Airtightness UK can issue Air Permeability Certificates within 24 hours.

What is an Air Tightness Test – Air Pressure Test – Air Permeability Test – Blower Door Test - Pulse Test?

Air Tightness Testing provides a compliance check against building standards.
Air permeability — the rate of air leakage — is expressed in m3/hr/m2 and measured at a reference pressure difference of 50 Pa. The higher the result, the greater the amount of heat loss through draughts and air infiltration.
